Two words, a masthead weight, and no logo file to get wrong.

What a publication, a partner or a case study needs in order to refer to Press Hub correctly. Everything here exists in the product today; nothing is a mock-up of an identity that has not been made.

01

How is the name written?

  • Press Hub — two words, capital P, capital H, with a space.
  • Not “PressHub”, “Presshub” or “PRESS HUB”.
  • “pressdb” is the repository and the domain, not the product name. Use Press Hub in copy.
  • It is a product name. The operator is a separate matter and is named in the legal notice.

02

Is there a logo file to download?

No. There is no symbol, monogram or lockup: the wordmark is the words themselves, set in Source Serif 4 at semibold. That weight is the single deliberate exception to the interface’s rule that headings are set at regular weight — a wordmark is not a heading, it is a mark, and a masthead is the one thing on a press product that has always been set heavy.

Reproducing it in a suitable text serif at a matching weight is correct usage. If a fixed vector file is needed for print, ask at hello@pressdb.co rather than tracing one from a screenshot.

03

What are the colours?

  • Accent, dark interface: #62bbdd on ground #100f0e.
  • Accent, light interface: #006e8c on ground #f4f2ed.
  • The product ships dark by default; the light palette is a warm paper ground, not white.
  • Reserved meanings that should not be borrowed for decoration: green #2c6b52 marks a verified address, rust #8f4a2f marks an unverified or degraded one.

04

May I use screenshots?

Yes, for editorial coverage and reviews, unmodified and with the interface legible. One condition follows from how the product is built: a screenshot must not show journalist names, roles or email addresses. Capture the public media directory and the marketing pages, which carry outlet identity only.

05

What is not permitted?

  • Implying endorsement, partnership or a customer relationship that does not exist.
  • Using the name in your own product name, domain, app title or social handle.
  • Altering the wordmark’s spelling, casing or spacing to fit a layout.
  • Presenting corpus data as your own dataset — see the sending and use policy.
